Restaurant bookings are down 38% on average from 2019 levels in 40 large US cities, according to new data from OpenTable.

Of the 40 large cities in the dataset, only four cities’ bookings are actually up:

Meanwhile, some cities are struggling worse than others. The ten cities where bookings are most dramatically down (including Canadian city Toronto, which closed indoor dining in January):
